THE NEW ORENBURG AIR TERMINAL WILL BE ABLE TO ACCEPT 1000 PASSENGERS PER HOUR
The Main State Expertise of Russia issued a positive conclusion on the construction of a new air terminal complex at Orenburg International Airport. New passenger infrastructure is being created along with the reconstruction of the airfield complex, which will increase the capacity on domestic routes to 600 passengers per hour and on international routes to 400.

September 2, 2023 at Begishevo airport named after N.V. Lemaev, the official opening of the new passenger terminal took place. The opening ceremony was attended by Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alfiya Kogogina, General Director of KAMAZ PJSC Sergey Kogogin, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Igor Chalik, Minister of Transport and Road Facilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Hanifov, Head of the Airport Department activities of the Federal Air Transport Agency Alexander Averkiev. Aerokuzbass LLC (manages the Novokuznetsk airport) has scheduled a tender for August 31 to determine the developer of design estimates for the reconstruction of the airfield complex of the Novokuznetsk airport. The initial (maximum) contract price is 160 million rubles.
